Gold pendant from the tomb of Wen- Djeba-En-Djed, senior official of Psusennes I. The goddess Bastet as a female figure with a lion's head, wearing the solar disc and uraeus. It represents the destructive power of the gods in female form, more frequently identified with the goddess Sekhmet. Country of Origin: Egypt. Culture: Ancient Egyptian.  Heart scarab pendant, inscribed on reverse with chapter 26 of the Book of the Dead, from the tomb of General Wen-Djeba-En-Djed, senior official of Psusennes I.
