jar

This jar, which has two vertical handles halfway up the wall height and a protrusion at the back, is shaped as a double cylinder. The flat lid fits perfectly and is pierced at the protrusion where it was fixed by a pin of grey-black slate and thus could open and swivel. The broken pin is still partly visible in the pierced hole. The centre of the front part of the jar and lid each have a mushroom-shaped knob of dark grey slate to fasten the jar.
