This Third Intermediate Period amulet from the Walters Art Museum depicts Amun fused with the solar deity, Re, thereby making the supreme solar deity Amun-Re.
Silver figures such as this one were precious in Ancient Egypt. This small statuette has a loop at the back to be used as a pendant. Amun is displayed with the standard iconography of Amun-Re. He is dressed in a divine shendyt, a collar, and a double feather-crown combined with a sun-disk.
