Miniature Basket

A tiny woven basket in excellent condition. Baskets made of leaves, papyrus or cane were used as containers in the home. This basket came in a wooden container with a flat, hinged lid that had knobs for fastening. The box was painted white and held two baskets and fragments of bread.
