Statue of the deceased Huemasha and his wife

The scribe Huemasha is shown sitting on a seat with a high back, embracing his wife Baket, who embraces him in her turn; the latter is represented twice, on his right and on his left. The nine sons of the couple with their names are depicted on the back and sides of the seat.

Translation

The scribe Huemasha. His wife, the lady of the house Baket, justified. An offering that the king gives to Amun that he may grant all sorts of good and pure things to the scribe Huemasha. An offering that the king gives to Osiris, that he may grant all sorts of things to the ka of Huemasha.
